Onine banking is whereby you can pay bills, move money, deposit money etc. over the internet through your bank's website. Online banking can be very useful, especially as online banking allows you to carry out transactions from anywhere in the world and outside of normal banking outside bank hours. Basically for online banking you just need access to a web browser and an internet connection.
Online banking is rapidly becoming the preferred method of banking due to it's convenience and the benefits it offers.
Whilst Online Banking is a secure form of banking however there are several online banking scams or 'phishing' whereby an e-mail appears to have been sent from your bank asking you to confirm your details - Do not reply to such phishing e-mails. If you do these scammers will then use your details to access your online banking account and clean you out! If in doubt always call your bank directly.
